Payment Rail Architecture & CBN Compliance
CrowdAlt is a digital crowdfunding technology platform created and operated by TRANZT DIGITALS LIMITED (RC-7612345). CrowdAlt is not a bank, deposit-taking institution, or commercial lender.
All payment collection, card acquiring, virtual account routing, and payout settlements are executed directly through licensed Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) financial partners, including Paystack Payments Limited (licensed Payment Solution Service Provider - PSSP / Switching and Processing).
Anti-Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing Prevention
CrowdAlt complies rigorously with the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022 and guidelines issued by the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) and Central Bank of Nigeria:
- Every organizer receiving disbursements must undergo identity and BVN verification.
- Payout destination accounts must be valid Nigerian NUBAN accounts held at regulated deposit money banks or licensed microfinance institutions.
- Automated transaction monitoring flags anomalous donation velocity, suspicious card patterns, and non-conforming settlement volumes.
Zero Platform Commission & Donor-Covered Processing
In accordance with Nigerian consumer protection principles:
Platform Fee: Exactly 0%. CrowdAlt does not deduct any percentage or commission from funds raised by campaign organizers.
Payment Processing Fee: The standard Paystack transaction fee (1.5% + ₦100 for NGN payments) is added to the donation at checkout and paid by the donor so the campaign receives 100% of the intended donation.
Withdrawal Fee: 0% platform fee to withdraw funds into Nigerian bank accounts.
